With a deep understating of the importance of accurately audited financial statements to a business and its stakeholders, Yssel Auditors Incorporated delivers audit services with the utmost audit care and ethical standards.
We provide the most efficient and cost-effective service by understanding the business and its risks.
Statutory Audits.
Our statutory audit service process is based on understanding an entity, its risk analysis, evidenced corroboration and skilled professional judgment.
The audits are performed in terms of the Auditing Profession Act No. 26 of 2005 and is defined as the examination of, in accordance with prescribed or applicable auditing standards:
- Financial statements with the objective of expressing an opinion as to their fairness or compliance with an identified financial reporting framework and any applicable statutory requirements; or
- Financial and other information, prepared in accordance with suitable criteria, with the objective of expressing an opinion on the financial and other information.
Statutory auditing is an independent and objective assurance service which is designed to add value to your business.
Independent reviews.
Our Independent Review process is a limited assurance engagement where we perform primarily inquiry and analytical procedures to obtain sufficient appropriate evidence as the basis for a conclusion on the financial statements as a whole, expressed in accordance with the requirements of ISRE 2400 (Revised).
Independent reviews are not required for owner managed profit companies and close corporations but can be performed voluntarily if the public interest score is less than 350 and the financial statements are independently compiled, or if the public interest score is less than 100.
Compilation reviews.
The compilation report and reviews states that we did not audit or review the financial statements and accordingly does not express an opinion, a conclusion or provide any assurance on them.
A compilation is typically appropriate for Close Corporations and Management financial statements.

Valuations & Consultations
Valuations
Company or Close Corporation’s valuation can be used to determine the fair value of a business for a variety of reasons, including sale or purchase of shares or members interest, establishing partner ownership, taxation, and even divorce proceedings.
This is an analytical process that takes into account various factors such as the company’s management, capital structure, projected cash flow earnings, and market value of its assets.
We use several methods to perform valuation, including the price-to-earnings (P/E) ratio, dividend discount model (DDM), and discounted cash flow (DCF) model.
Consultations
- CIPC incorporation of new companies
- CIPC company and close corporations’ detail amendments
- CIPC Amendment to company directors and shareholders
- CIPC Amendment to members and members interests of close corporations
- CIPC annual returns preparation and submission
- COIDA preparation and submission (Letter of Good Standing)
- Structuring and re-structuring of businesses.
Curatorship.
Curatorship is a legal process where a curator is appointed to manage the affairs of a person who is no longer able to manage their own financial affairs or make well-informed decisions.
There are three types of curators that can be appointed: curator ad litem, curator bonis, and curator personae.
The appointment of a curator is done through a formalized procedure in the High Court.
The Master of the High Court supervises the administration of curatorship.
